hooray, hallelujah and many expressions of joy. My sister and her husband stayed the night last night and Blake was asking about my digital camera and I explained to him how it would go through batteries like crazy and all and so I hadn't used it in probably 2 or three months maybe even 4. He wanted a demonstration so I put in some batteries and lo and behold it worked and I haven't replaced the batteries yet and I have taken more than the usual 2 picture limit I am so happy and it is just in time for Christmas the season of much picture takingI know I haven't posted in forever. Let's see to catch you up for thanksgiving we stayed home and it was just us which I don't really enjoy because I do all the cooking by myself and it is like every other day but with better food. Harlan had his birthday on the tenth and is now 6 and got exactly what he has been begging us for a bumblebee transformer which is kind of interesting since he has never seen the movie or cartoon. He also got Uno with speed racer on it which he has never seen but also knows what it is go figure and a new pair of pants the kid has already out grown the ones I got him for school.
My mom and Dad stayed the night last week and she brought a gingerbread house she had made for us all to put together it is a tradition in my family the kids and I had a blast
Shilo also had her first serious illness she had a double ear infection and was put on a breathing treatment for a short time because she was having trouble breathing she is all better now and is doing great crawling and getting into everything. I have been really busy making candy and crocheting so far i have done 9 scarfs and 5 hats. I am also trying to finish my sewing projects, I have blankets to make for Sher's girls and pajama's for my kids and dresses for my girls. and think Christmas is a week away and we have company coming on Friday and Sunday and Saturday I am making a cake for my cousin's wedding. i for see late nights and much stress in my future. I hope that everyone is having a great holiday season so far.
